Grand Master HWANG KEE

El Gran maestro Fundador, Hwang Kee nació el 9 de noviembre de 1.914 en Jang Dan, Kyong Ki provincia donde el DMZ se encuentra actualmente . Su padre, Hwang, Yong Hwan, tuvo un sueño en el cual vio a la estrella brillante (Sam Tae Song) antes del nacimiento de su hijo. El le puso de nombre a su hijo “Tae Nom” que significa “niño de las estrellas”. Luego le cambiaron el nombre por “Kee”. Su padre fue un sabio que logró tener un alto nivel de reconocimiento en la última Dinastía del Rey Yi, Ko Jong.

El Gran Maestro se intereso por las artes marciales desde muy jóven, en el año 1935 viajo a Manchuria, China y conoció al Gran maestro Kuk In Yang, después de varios intentos de ser aceptado como discípulo finalmente el GM Yang lo acepto introducirlo en el profundo estudio del Tang Soo (la mano de China).

 

En el año 1945 funda la escuela Moo Duk Kwan en Corea siendo este el comienzo de una de las escuelas mas tradicionales de oriente. El Gran maestro falleció en el año 2002 dejando una organización mundial muy fuerte, difundida por todo el mundo y basada en los principios de filosofía Marcial (Moo Do).
